Happy Tuesday Everyone! It's really warm outside which means its a perfect time for Jazz inside. Jazz is often played inside, and this is especially true this time of year. There is still Jazz outside, but this will be much warmer than the Jazz that is played inside. This is certainly true in KC, so it is important to take advantage of this. It is the perfect time for KC to have Jazz inside. This is good.

Happy Friday Everyone! I like to say TGIJ instead of TGIF since I like to think that Friday means "thank God its Jazz-day". This is because there is more live Jazz on Friday than other weekdays. I am thankful for Jazz on every weekday, but Friday seems like the best day of the week to be thankful since there is Jazz on Friday and Jazz on Saturday to look forward to. I hope everyone has a Friday and Saturday full of Jazz and that everyone is able to cool off since it is warm outside. Jazz is cool and able to soothe the mind, but we need water and air to chill the body. This is good.

Happy Independence Day Everyone! I hope everyone is celebrating safely and with Jazz. Today is a special day as we would not have Jazz without having American independence. We should be especially thankful for having taxation with representation since Jazz is taxed because it is also a business for many. This is not true of everyone in Jazz, but it is true for many who perform Jazz on a regular basis. We should also be thankful for the chance to remember those who fought for that independence since they were also fighting for Jazz. This has continued since there have been a lot of military bands that play Jazz, and this is important to keep the tradition of Jazz alive. They usually play older Jazz rather than new Jazz, but this is for different reasons than those who play old Jazz instead of new Jazz outside of the military. The military plays Jazz for entertainment to boost morale, and enhancement for formal ceremonies. This makes sense as there is no better morale booster than Jazz.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the workweek. The days are getting longer meaning that there is more daylight for Jazz. But many people work during the day, and live Jazz is often played inside after daylight since there is usually light inside rather than outside. Sometimes this isn't the case, and making the inside more like the outside is harder than just playing outside. I think it's important to remember that Jazz is often played in dark places, but even those places need some light for Jazz to see. I hope everyone gets Jazz with just enough light to make the dark a little brighter than before. This is good.

Happy Spring everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather! As we move into Spring it is important to take advantage of all of the live Jazz that will take place outside. There will still be plenty of Jazz that will take place inside, but there will be more Jazz outside than the season before. There will also be Jazz Festivals which are festivals that have more Jazz than other kinds of festivals and many of those are outside as well. As much as I have enjoyed listening to live Jazz inside and Jazz which is on recordings, I also look forward to Jazz that is live and outside. This is a good opportunity for everyone to spend time with others outside while listening to Jazz. Any time we get to listen to Jazz with others is time well spent.

Hi! I hope everyone has had lots of Jazz recently. I've been thinking about tradition and how this works with Jazz. I think it is important to remember how Jazz was played since those new to Jazz have to start somewhere. It makes sense that they learn how to play old Jazz before they learn how to play new Jazz, which I just call Jazz. We have mentioned this before. But some seem to think that one should keep playing old Jazz as if it's new, and this is not good. There is plenty of Jazz to go around, but there is less Jazz if we do things this way. Jazz can never be the same as it once was, and we are only acting if we continue to play old Jazz. Since we are musicians and not actors, I think we should think this way. Playing Jazz which has been played before as if its new also does not seem honest since we are playing Jazz rather than playing anything else. I hope we remember this as we honor what has happened in the past by creating something new that will be a different past once it is done.

Happy Jazzturday Everyone! That's Jazz on Saturday in case anyone forgot. I have been thinking about the Renaissance and if Jazz could be a part of something like this. Since Jazz is art as we have said before, it seems like this could be the case. It also seems like such a time also involves a place, such as Kansas City (KC), and that this could happen there. I am not sure if we could know this while it is happening, but perhaps afterward we would know it happened in the past. Otherwise it sounds too much like dreaming, and I like to listen to Jazz mostly when I am awake. This is because I can listen with others, and I am only sure of that if I am not sleeping. It is true that I can hear Jazz when I am dreaming sometimes, but it is not as clear. However we should remember that anytime we can listen to Jazz is a good time. I hope everyone has days and dreams of Jazz.

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Today is a day about romance and love, and this means it is a good day to listen to Jazz. Some say that Jazz is a good music for romantic occasions, and while this is true for some Jazz, it is not true for all Jazz. There is Jazz music for all celebrations, but not all Jazz is suitable for every celebration. Any occasion where we get to listen to Jazz is a good occasion, and we should think about this as we romance and love. This is good.

Happy Thursday Everyone! I hope everyone is taking time this Friday's Eve to think about Jazz. Some may think Thursdays are not as good as Fridays, but I think they are almost as good because Thursday is almost Friday. This means that if Fridays are good days to listen to Jazz, then Thursdays are good days to listen to Jazz as well. There is always more live Jazz to listen to on Fridays, but there is also live Jazz on Thursdays oftentimes, so it is good to consider this. Every day is a good day to listen to Jazz.

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope everyone is taking time to relax and be thankful for things from the past year. We should also make plans for this year perhaps so that we have even more things to be thankful for next year. Some people try to make resolutions, but that just seems like a checklist of plans that haven't happened yet. I think we should be thankful for the Jazz that we heard last year, and plan to hear more Jazz this year. The good thing about Jazz is the more that you listen, the more you can notice about the Jazz that you haven't listened to yet. I am not sure that this is a resolution, but it seems to be a plan to hear more Jazz. This is good.

I hope everyone is having a Happy Holiday. This time of year is complicated. Many are not at work as much and this includes those that play Jazz. It is best to listen in person to Jazz when one is able, and this includes holidays as we have said before. When there is less Jazz to hear in person, this is difficult. We may have to listen to old Jazz that is recorded, but at least we have some Jazz rather than no Jazz at all. This is good. We should all be thankful that we are able to share Jazz with others during the holidays regardless of format.

I hope everyone is having a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that in the midst of eating and talking to others that everyone doesn't forget to be thankful for Jazz. Jazz has always been a social music, and since Thanksgiving can be social for many, I hope that there are lots of people listening to Jazz today. There is likely less Jazz today in person since today is a holiday, but that doesn't mean that we cannot listen to Jazz. We should also be thankful for Jazz since Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful although we should try to be thankful for Jazz everyday. I am thankful for Jazz, and I hope that everyone else is also thankful for Jazz.

Happy Jazz-turday Everyone! (That's Jazz on Saturday in case anyone forgot.) I hope everyone has been listening to lots of Jazz. The days are shorter and colder, but that just means it is the perfect time to listen to Jazz. Since Jazz is mostly played inside, this is a good time to go listen to it since being outside is more difficult. The shorter days are perfect for Jazz as well since Jazz is best when it is played in the evening time. Not all Jazz is played in the evening time, but Jazz is often played in darker rooms than other forms of music. I hope everyone gets to stay inside and listen to Jazz today.

Happy All Hallows Eve Everyone! I hope everybody is having a safe and spooky time tonight. Since any celebration is a reason to celebrate Jazz, I thought it might be good to share what makes Jazz so good. I started listening to Jazz a long time ago when I was much younger. I am a bit older now, so I have listened to Jazz for a lot of time. Jazz was always much different from other music since it is different every time it is played even when the same players play the same things at different times. This is good. I also like that Jazz contains many of the cool things in other kinds of music but in one music. It also seems like Jazz is much different than other music since each person has the freedom to play as they will. This might seem like it does not matter, but this is a defining feature of the American zeitgeist. I think this is also good. I also like that there is so much Jazz to listen to already that I can learn a lot about it even when I do not have time to listen to Jazz music in person. Live Jazz music is best, and this is what made me like it so much. I hope everyone has a nice holiday, and that this holiday also includes Jazz since all holidays should include Jazz.

Does one need to know Jazz to enjoy Jazz? This is a question which has been asked before. Since Jazz is an art, this is not true. Knowing more about Jazz might help one to enjoy Jazz more, but this is not required. Those who play Jazz might know a lot about the Jazz that they play, but not much about the Jazz that they don't play. Since Jazz is new every time it is played, it is impossible to know that much about Jazz at any given time. This is a part of how Jazz stays fresh although Jazz is not a food as we have said. Whether one knows about Jazz or not, one can always learn more through listening to Jazz. We are all the same in this way, and this is good.

Jazz is an art form which requires a lot of dedication. This means that many who play Jazz are seen as someone who only plays Jazz. This is not necessarily true. Since Jazz also has influence from other forms of music, Jazz players can at times play other forms of music. This is good. But we should think of Jazz players as players who can play more than Jazz, although playing Jazz is more than enough. Even if a Jazz player is seen as someone who only plays Jazz, this should be seen as a compliment since the Jazz they are playing must be good. If someone says this is a bad thing, then they need to listen to more Jazz. Listening to more Jazz is always a good thing.

Is Jazz better than other art forms or music? This is a question that has been asked. Jazz seems like it is better in many ways than other kinds of music but maybe not in all ways. It is important to listen to many forms of music so that one can appreciate Jazz to its fullest. It is hard to compare Jazz to other art forms other than music because other art forms are much different. Comparing Jazz to dancing, sculpture, and painting seems very difficult. We should appreciate Jazz for being Jazz and other arts for being other arts. Jazz is special, and regardless of other things, we should think about this.

A large question is how Jazz should be performed. Some places wish that Jazz be a certain way since some Jazz can be too much for some audiences. This usually means that one should play either old tunes or new tunes in older ways. This is okay sometimes, but for Jazz to be new, Jazz must be played in ways it has not been played before. This means that some performances are not as good for new Jazz, which I just call Jazz as I have mentioned. We should remember that some performances are going to sound more different than previous performances we have heard. All performances are different since Jazz is always different each time it is played, so this is good.

Some have said that Jazz is abstract. I'm not sure if this is true since Jazz is played with instruments, and this seems hard to confuse with anything else. Other music is played with instruments, but other kinds of music are not exactly Jazz. Jazz can have words, although not all Jazz has words as we have said before, and Jazz with words seems like it would not be abstract. Some people must think Jazz is abstract because they have not listened to enough of it to know that it is not as abstract as they think. This means that more people need to listen to Jazz to understand it, and this seems okay.

Jazz is an art, and this means that it can be taught. Some say you can only learn Jazz from listening to older Jazz since the student will not be playing new Jazz yet. This seems good. Some say you can learn Jazz from understanding the structure of Jazz which means that some other person heard it first and then wrote about it. Both seem reasonable, although one should listen to Jazz more often since listening to Jazz is the best way to keep Jazz new. Some people may teach Jazz another way, but this seems like too much. Listening to Jazz is the best way to teach Jazz and the best way to learn Jazz. Adding steps to this means that we are listening to Jazz less, and we should be more careful than that.

Jazz is an art which is learned through listening to other Jazz. This might involve listening to older Jazz, but only playing older Jazz should not be the goal because Jazz changes all of the time. Trying to play old Jazz all of the time keeps Jazz from being new, and trying to play new old Jazz will never be as good as Jazz which is already new. We should enjoy Jazz in every form, but Jazz which is played today is unlike Jazz that is played yesterday. We should make sure we are listening to Jazz which is new at the time it is played instead of Jazz which is trying to be old as it is played. We should be thankful that we have the Jazz that is old and look forward to the Jazz which is new.

It has been said that someone who plays Jazz needs to know about Jazz that came before. This is true. But there is a lot of Jazz, so knowing about all of the Jazz before now would be impossible. Then they must mean that one must know about only some of the Jazz that came before. There is no way to know which past Jazz one should know. It seems that every person who plays Jazz must choose which older Jazz to learn, and this choice may be different for some than others. I think we should remember this. We should also remember that playing new Jazz is best since Jazz always changes and that older Jazz is Jazz which has not changed yet.

Jazz is an art which was once popular but is now considered less popular. I am not sure what this means since there have always been people who listen to Jazz. This must mean that Jazz used to be played more although there is more Jazz now than there ever has been. I think the trick to making Jazz more popular is to let people know that Jazz is being played and that there is a lot of it. If more people know that Jazz exists, then there will be more Jazz to listen to. This is a good thing.

Some people say that Jazz is as American as Baseball. Baseball is very American, but it is not music. There are also a lot of people who watch Baseball, and this is probably more than the number of people who listen to Jazz. Jazz is American as it was developed in America, but it is not an athletic event. I think we should try to get as many people to listen to Jazz as who watch Baseball. I have heard before someone say "what is Jazz?", and I think this is a definitely a question to ask. Jazz is music, and it is music which is played according to a written page as well as parts which are not written. All of these parts have a recipe, although Jazz is an art form which is not food as we have said. Music is art, and this means that Jazz is art. Jazz is an art which makes players think up their own music and play it without reading it. This is different than many other art forms and many other forms of music. This means that Jazz is always new, and as long as Jazz is played, it will stay alive. And since we are alive, it is good to listen to Jazz.

Some people say that Jazz is harder to listen to than other forms of music. I think this is true sometimes, but it is not true all of the time. Some Jazz has words which is closer to other forms of music that have words, but it is Jazz instead of anything else. Other times Jazz does not have words, and this might be different to listen to than Jazz with words. I think Jazz that has words or does not have words are good to listen to. In either case I do not think this means that Jazz is hard to listen to, and some people who think that Jazz is hard to listen to probably have not listened to as much Jazz as other kinds of music. I think more people should to listen to Jazz to avoid thinking this way. This helps Jazz to stay around and to have more of it. This is good.

Although you cannot eat Jazz, you can listen to it. And this means that we need to listen to good Jazz by Jazz musicians that have good recipes. I say this because we only have one life to listen to Jazz and we should make sure not to forget that. Much of Jazz is also about life even if it does not have words. I also think that the weekend is the best time for Jazz because that is when we have free times if we don't play Jazz, and it's when we play Jazz if we do play Jazz a lot of the time. I was much closer to Jazz today. We do not always get Jazz as much as we want, but we get as much as we can. There is never enough Jazz for some days, but other days we get enough to last several. Those are good days.

This is always the case because Jazz is always with us as long we have listen to it, but I might be able to hear Jazz from outside of KC. Sorry everyone. I missed a day of Jazz. Posting here is difficult, but I will try to maintain an average. I was thinking. Jazz has no rules, but there is structure just like America. I like that. Jazz and America go together as good as Jazz, and this is a good thing.

Jazz is an American art form. It should be played to keep culture. It deserves money as well. If there comes a time where Jazz is not, then the communists win, lol. We cannot have the communists win. Jazz should be played in America. Jazz should be played elsewhere sometimes, but not by communists.
